Panama City Beach is a great location to celebrate Christmas and New Years.  Pier Park hold its annual Beach Ball Drop for the young kids early in the evening and then holds other events later in the night including music and the spectacular fireworks display at midnight.

 

You can also enjoy New Years Eve celebrations at Schooners or Spinnakars 

Enjoy dinner out at many of the fine restaurants around the area or enjoy walking on the beach at night looking at all the Christmas lights.

My favorite thing to do is sit on the balcony at Diamond on the Emerald Coast and enjoy an evening drink listing to the ocean waves crashing on the sand.
